Great Doctor, great staff. I have been going here for years. They are very patient when you are trying on the many pairs of glasses they offer. They always follow up when my prescriptions are ready and when I need to be seen for my next eye examine. Never have had any issues with my insurance even when I have had to switch my insurance.

Ignore the nonsense bad reviews, Dr. Meek is great. He diagnosed a condition that no optometrist had ever informed me about, and helped explain so much about an ocular issue I didn't even know I had! A lot of vision issues I've had make so much sense now. He also made the exam super easy, I was in and out quickly and got the prescription I needed. The staff was also great. They were able to track down my vision insurance information in just a few minutes even though it isn't on my insurance card, and everyone was very friendly. It was very easy to get an appointment, and I didn't even have to wait in the waiting room or lobby. Plus they have butter mints in a basket on the front desk. Can't go wrong with butter mints. 5/5, will visit again.

If you're interested in a doctor that will prescribe you his superior opinion along with a new prescription, Dr. Meek is the guy for you. "You should use these frames, the ones you have are aesthetically too wide for your face." I like the style of my glasses. A lot. "Though you have astigmatism in your left eye, I'll just prescribe you contacts matching your right eye, you won't notice." I absolutely did, and had to go back for a follow up to get the correct prescription. "You don't want those contacts, they are really painful." I still wanted to hear the pros as well as the cons of RGP lenses (and informed him that I have high pain tolerance) but just got the same con thrown back at me, "They're *really* painful when you get dust under your lens." It is my humble view that medical professionals should present you with the facts and let you make your own choices. This doctor does not follow that philosophy one iota. He will tell you what you want and that's the end of it. I will not be going back. (If anyone should be getting a star in that office, it should go to his super sweet secretary.)

Ignore the bad reviews. People get offended and irked about any little thing now a days. Dr. Meek was so nice, respectful & knowledgeable. The young man and the lady at the front were polite and very helpful. While I was there the lady at the front (Connie) went OUTSIDE to help a patient that couldn’t come in. Talk about great service! I’ve only been using glasses for a while but my husband has had vision issues since he was a little boy. He is so pleased with the care and attention to detail Dr. Meek demonstrated because no other optometrist has ever taken the time of digging further or referring him to a specialist. We’re glad our insurance changed and that we can come here now.

My actual appointment was great. The Dr. and gentleman at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the other front desk personnel, Connie, ruined my experience and I will not be returning. I was going to order contacts through this business after my eye exam but wanted to research online prices first. I had them print out the total pricing so I could compare it to online sellers. When I compared it to online this business was only $10 more so I figured I would rather order through them to support a local business. I called back today to order the contacts and Connie told me they gave me the wrong pricing so it was actually $160 more than what they originally told me. Even though if I would have bought them at my actual visit it would have been for the lower amount. She didn’t care to match the pricing or anything even though they physically printed out what my total would be. I just wanted to support a local business but apparently they don’t care about making things right for customers! So sad!
