Very friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring doctors—including a female doctor, which I really appreciated. They took the time to explain everything thoroughly, from the front of the eye to the back, and answered all of my questions without rushing. The staff was also efficient and welcoming. Overall, it’s a warm, friendly environment, and I will definitely be recommending them to others.
You walk in this very nice optic office to a staff that were very approachable, professional, and kind. They were able to get me in as a walk in new patient. Which was very cool because I was over due for an exam and I ran out of contacts. Dr Rugama was very pleasant, kind, professional, and her explanations were very thorough, which all made me feel confident that I chose the right place. Dr Rugama is very knowledgeable and spends the time to fully explain any concerns of questions. She recently went above and beyond by immediately calling me and my pharmacy to work through a medication that was not in stock. She is currently treating me for extreme dry eye and is doing an excellent job of developing and implementing a plan for my specific needs.
I was fortunate I was walking by and saw the cool glasses display, so I walked in and I was greeted by and professional kind staff that got me in as a walk in new patient. Dr Rugama was caring, professional, and kind. She made me feel comfortable and confident that I walked into the right place to get my eyes thoroughly examined. I was even given trials to walk out with. I recommend all to get eye examined and to check out the selection of glasses as well! I am truly grateful to Juneau Eye care team:) Thank you again.
Dr. Rugama was very communicative and lovely. Dr. Biscoe also checked in and was helpful. The office staff were pleasant and kind. They started from scratch with my prescription and got everything I needed just right. The atmosphere was comfortable and felt upscale, like a fancy ski lodge or spa.
