Keene Vision Center

I have been a customer of the Vision Center in Keene for several years. Both Dr. Molly and Dr. Emily have provided excellent exams, advice, and care. Recently, I received a new prescription and received great help from Monica in the optical area. Monica helped me select a great new set of lens with new frame that look terrific and stayed with my budget. When I picked up my new glasses, Monica was again extremely helpful in fitting them. I drive a ways to Keene but the Vision Center is worth the extra miles. Highly recommended!!

I recently visited Dr. Dexter's Vision Center in Keene, NH, and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and professional, and Dr. Emily Tuthill was thorough and informative during my exam. The office is clean, well-organized, and equipped with modern technology. They also offer a nice selection of eyeglasses and contacts. The main downside is that if you need to reschedule, you may have to wait another 4–6 months to get back on the schedule. For those who don’t know their availability that far out, this can be difficult. They also mentioned having over 100 people on their cancellation waitlist in other review responses, so that’s not a quick option either. Additionally, according to their phone message, they’re not accepting new adult patients at this time, likely due to reaching capacity with their current patient load and extended wait times for appointments. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Dexter’s for quality eye care if you're already a client—just be prepared for scheduling challenges if you need to reschedule your visit for some reason.

Excellent care. I've seen Dr. Tuthill for years and she's always been kind, courteous, and thorough in her explanations of my health. All the staff are incredibly kind and inviting, and it's generally a very welcoming space. I always enjoy my appointments there.

My lenses came in much lighter than anticipated. I explained I work in a dark room all day and needed the darkest available. They reordered my prescription and took care of the issues to my satisfaction. I will do business there again!

I was able to get an appointment within a few months so that’s a plus. However, unlike my previous ophthalmologist’s office, they told me they would charge extra for a contact prescription. However, when I came in for my exam, not only did they try to check me out without the contact prescription, but I found out later when I attempted to order glasses they intentionally leave the PD off the script. They don’t tell you this, you find out later and then they charge you extra if you don’t buy your glasses from them. I found this a pretty sneaky way to penny and dime customers
