My daughter has seen both Dr. Monahan and Dr. Kim, and we've had a wonderful experience with both of them. The front office staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the office is clean and well organized. We first came to the practice when my daughter was 6 years old to get her first pair of glasses with Dr. Monahan. About a year later, she started saying she couldn't see the board at school again, so we scheduled another appointment with Dr. Kim. We found out her vision had worsened significantly. My daughter was interested in trying contact lenses, but I wasn't sure if she'd be able to manage them since she was only 7. Dr. Kim was incredibly kind, patient, and encouraging throughout the entire process. She is such a great teacher and explained everything in a way my daughter could understand. She took the time to teach her how to put in and remove her contacts without ever making her feel rushed or discouraged. After about 30 minutes of practice, Dr. Kim helped her get the contacts in, and seeing my daughter's face light up when she realized how clear everything looked was such a special moment. My daughter has now been wearing her contacts for about three months with no issues at all, and she puts them in by herself every morning. I honestly never thought she'd be able to do it at just 7 years old, but Dr. Kim gave her the confidence and skills she needed. We're so glad we chose this office for her eye care and would highly recommend them to any family looking for knowledgeable, caring, and patient eye doctors for their children.
