My experience at Kendall Optical was mixed. The doctor is exceptional—highly knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely caring. They take the time to clearly explain diagnoses and treatment options, which made me feel comfortable and well-informed throughout my visit. Unfortunately, the front desk staff did not reflect the same level of professionalism. Their demeanor came across as consistently rude and, at times, passive-aggressive, which significantly detracted from the overall experience and made me feel uncomfortable during my visit. This pattern of behavior suggests a need for immediate attention by management. The front desk team would greatly benefit from comprehensive retraining in customer service and patient interaction, or, if improvements cannot be made, replacement with staff who can uphold a more professional and respectful standard. Given this experience, I would recommend considering alternative providers such as West Kendall Eye Care or Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, where patients may receive a more consistently professional and welcoming experience. While the quality of care provided by the doctor at Kendall Optical is outstanding, the negative interactions at the front desk overshadow what would otherwise be an excellent patient experience.
