Professional, knowledgeable, kind and caring! I have seen Dr. Kim for years and am always impressed with her thorough visits and willingness to educate as well as examine and collect data on my eye condition. This time I came in with an eye injury and Dr Love was able to squeeze me in between regular patients. She immediately put me at ease with her calm and professional demeanor, extracted a tiny sliver from my eye and explained how to care for the eye over the next few days. I received a follow up call from the office the next day to check and see how I was doing and to confirm a follow up appointment. From the office staff to the doctors, you will not find a more competent and caring team anywhere in the world. So glad they chose The big island for their practice. Many mahalos Dr. Kim and Dr. Love!

Dr Kim really takes the time to review all the eye tests their well trained tech administers. She explains where your eye condition is in comparison with previous years and what you can do to maintain good optical nerves, etc. I highly recommend Dr. Kim and look forward to my annual appointments with her and her staff.

I was a satisfied patient of Dr Fischer for many years and sorry when he retired. Today I tried to get an appointment because of pain in my eye and vision issues which may be related to cataract surgery. Dr Fischer always made time for emergency patients but it doesn't look like Dr Kim and her staff are offering the same kokua. The earliest would be one week today. I will look for another optician and one closer to home.

The hours posted on their website are incorrect. I just drove 30 mins. to pick up glasses and they are closed daily for lunch? Which is not posted on their website, e-mails, etc. And their business are random enough as it is. Will not buy glasses from them again.
