The staff seemed more interested in whether I had a cold than how well I could see. After I was given glasses with no instructions or any information about them, or how they should work - they didn’t work for me, my vision was worse, and I felt extremely unsafe wearing them- when provided two instance of detailed concerns- I was told I was not being patient enough, and that my previous eyewear had affected my ability to wear this eyewear. The glasses did not seem to reflect my prescription as they made my eyesight worse. Not only did the glasses give me worse eyesight - very little concern was given to the fact that I farm and work construction- and that these may be too fragile for my day to day work life. And they are - these are not even close to reasonable for durability in a physical environment. All in all extremely disappointing experience and wast of time

Took two days to get a call back to schedule a new patient exam. Did not like that they acted like they had never heard of MetLife vision insurance, that it couldn't possibly be MetLife and had to be under a different name. Then I was told the doctor did not see new patients on Saturdays. There was nothing about that on the website. It felt like the doctor just didn't see new patients with MetLife insurance on Saturdays. No worries I made an appt with my MetLife insurance at All About Eyes where they have no problem giving me an exam and not treating me like white trash.
Kessler Optical is home to true professionals in eye care. Their service is friendly yet professional, and their quality is second to none. I arrived early to my scheduled exam, and I was seen a few minutes early which was nice. Dr. Kessler was efficient yet thorough with my examination, which was full-fledged due to my severe nearsightedness and astigmatism. He also gave me a much more detailed and technical description of astigmatism and of the overall function of the eye, which I appreciated being an engineer. Kessler Optical does not have any cheap brands of eye wear, but their quality is the best. With the help of their associates, I chose a pair of Oliver People's frames with digitally manufactured lenses. The price was high but I believe it is worth every penny. Will definitely be a returning customer.
Dr. Kessler is an excellent optometrist. I have trusted him with my vision for 25+ years. The staff is knowledgeable, and the service is great! My glasses fit well and the progressive lenses are the best--the staff measured me so that I do not have to tilt my head to see whatever I need to see. Highly recommended.
Dr Kessler is hands down the best and most thorough eye doctor in town. His staff is always kind and knowledgeable. However, the general experience is very uncomfortable. I believe it is their prerogative to maintain their Covid reaction standards. The issue is with their idea of the “Fit Experience”. I feel like I have to come to my appointment with an excuse to leave or feel pushed into an obligation to purchase expensive frames. My entire family (me, ex husband, 3 kids) have seen Dr Kessler for over 17 years and in that time we have paid repeatedly over $500 for frames for a single person that were “the most affordable option with our insurance”. Now I order my frames/lenses for $80 a pair on Zeeloo. All that said, is no other eye doctor in town I would trust with my family’s vision care
