Dr. Nguyen is an amazing eye doctor. He is very knowledgeable, patient, and thorough in his approach. He takes the time to explain the things I need to know very carefully, and answers my myriad of questions in a most satisfactory way. I am thoroughly impressed with him and grateful to have found him. The staff is also kind and friendly.
The people who work here are misinformed and will give you incorrect and misleading information. When I purchased new frames and lenses I was told that they would bill it to my vision insurance and that I could submit the $400+ balance I paid for reimbursement through my spouse's vision insurance plan, but this information is wrong and misleading. If you are covered by more than one eye insurance plan, call them both first to get the correct information about reimbursement because the people who work here certainly have no idea how coinsurance works, and for some reason they will not submit to more than one insurance plant. I have requested they bill it to my husband's insurance so that I can then submit the remaining balance through my insurance for reimbursement (which is how the insurance companies said it can work) and am waiting to see if they can fix this. Either way, I will be changing eye clinics after this experience. They also will not tell you your pupillary distance measurement unless you buy glasses from them OR pay $50.
I’ve had consistently positive experiences with the optometrists here, they’re professional and knowledgeable. However, the biggest issue has been the repeated delays with contact lens orders. Over the past four years, I’ve continued to give this vision center opportunities, hoping for improvement, but orders rarely arrive within the estimated timeframes. Another concern is the lack of transparency around pricing. It’s often unclear what is covered by insurance and what isn’t, which can lead to unexpected charges at checkout. Unfortunately, due to these ongoing issues with reliability and billing clarity, I won’t be returning.
Always a great experience visiting here for my annual eye checkup. The doctors were very sweet and the receptionists are very kind in helping you choose the right glasses that fit within your budget.
