Dr. Knighton and his team are incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. Honestly some of the best I’ve come across. When I started having trouble with my vision, they did a thorough exam and got to the bottom of it quickly. Dr. Knighton found a solution that actually worked, and my vision has improved a lot since then. On top of being great at what they do, they’re warm and welcoming — you never feel like just another patient. My whole family trusts Knight Vision for anything eye care related, and we wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I had a great experience here at knight vision! They are very friendly, knowledgable, and accommodating. I can tell they all have a genuine passion for what they do. I would highly recommend making an appointment here for all your eye care needs!
I usually take forever to write reviews, but this visit deserved it. I took my wife, Sarah, to see Dr. Patrick Knighton for a VA comprehensive eye exam, and wow — what an incredible experience. He goes above and beyond for veterans, taking extra time to make sure they get the quality care they deserve. Dr. Knighton is kind, patient, and truly engaged. It’s been a long time since I’ve met a doctor who actually listens and radiates calm, genuine compassion. The exam was thorough, and he explained everything clearly while advocating next steps. As someone who worked 17 years in Level 1 & 2 trauma and emergency care, I can say this kind of bedside manner is rare. Dr. Knighton clearly takes pride in his work — knowledgeable, professional, and sincerely kind. We drove from Gresham (the VA scheduled it), and it was absolutely worth the trip. The front staff and optometric assistant were also fantastic — friendly, funny, and welcoming. This entire office is what every medical practice should be: compassionate, competent, and human. I’ll be booking my own appointment next!
From start to finish, it was complete chaos. I came in on a day when the other business had a lot of people in the waiting room. Then it took awhile to see the doctor. I didn’t think my prescription from him was correct, but it’s what I was sent with. Then, the glasses area didn’t really have anything that worked with my face. I ended up getting glasses elsewhere, and Knight Vision billed me $80, when in fact it should have been fully covered by VSP. I called VSP and they said it should have been taken care of. Then I get an email from Knight Vision demanding the $80. You’ll get the $80 check in the mail (because I do fear medical debt…), but if I could give them 0 stars I would. I don’t even wear the prescription I got from here…it always made me dizzy! Really think hard on if you want to give this place a chance…it was all very disappointing! Update to their response: the office was chaos because it’s shared with another business (the kids were all going there). I myself am on the spectrum, and it was noisy to me. I CALLED VSP AHEAD OF TIME AND THAT $80 CHARGE WAS BOGUS! IT SHOULD ALL HAVE BEEN COVERED!
Super great experience, the staff are very welcoming and the optometrist Patrick was great about explaining findings in detail. He even took the time to “show and tell” my son about what he was seeing to help Him better understand his vision. This has by far been the best experience we’ve had in an optometrist office. Bonus points for taking the insurance we have!!
