L.O. Eye Care

Took my mother here for an appointment and found that they were short staffed and the wait certainly confirmed this. Once getting called back the process was somewhat rushed, again a result of the short staffing. Either way my mom was throughly examined and provided a prescription as well as a recommendation for further review of developing cataracts. Once there is adequate staffing i imagine things will be ran much smoother and quicker.

The doctor was rude and short. She asked me why I was there even after I explained I was there for a routine annual exam. She did not address a current eye condition or the prescription I use to treat it. Not thorough at all. I felt like a number and that she was in some sort of hurry. She treated me like I had wasted her time. What a disappointment. Sadly, the Loeye comment on my review asking me to contact them to discuss is rather insulting. Seems as though THEY should reach out to all unhappy customers to resolve the issue. The onus to resolve their problem is NOT on the customer.

Kind staff, clean office. It would be appreciated if they spent more time in their Mt Pleasant office. I am.impressed that they opened on a Saturday to squeeze in our emergency. The loaner wheelchairs were useful.

I wish I had read the reviews before coming to this place; I would have found somewhere else to go. After jumping through numerous hoops to get an appointment here (mainly because of insurance), I was hopeful that I would finally get answers to a problem I have been experiencing. However, as other reviewers have stated, the wait time was absolutely ridiculous. An hour after my appointment was supposed to happen, I finally checked in with a staff member to see if there was an approximate time that I would be called back for my appointment. They informed me they still had two patients ahead of me. Again, this is AN HOUR AFTER MY APPOINTMENT TIME. If you end up going to this office, treat it like you’re going to the DMV or getting your oil changed; expect to be sitting around for multiple hours (I ended up leaving after an hour because I had other things I needed to do) and don’t plan for anything after your appointment just in case. I do not plan to come back to this office, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Referred by my PCP for a sudden, worrying vision issue. This is an exceptionally busy practice. They handle patient flow beautifully, but do be prepared to wait a bit. I experienced efficient, professional, courteous treatment from every person with whom I interacted, from registration/intake to the doctor himself. Dr El Sanhouri is outstanding. I highly recommend this Opthalmology practice.
