Both my sister and I got lenses done here for frames that we bought externally, which were handled well and given back in great condition. I WILL say the frames that they sell run on the pricier side, which is part of the reason why we brought our own. I vaguely remember something about price matching if you find a reputable seller of the same model. We worked with Zach and an older gentlemen who were both very patient and helpful when deciding on lens type and coatings/add-ons. The process felt personalized; your attendant will be completely focused on helping you. For high index single visions lenses, it cost around $400. For normal polycarbonate single vision lenses, expect $300-350. Both had AR coating (pretty important IMO). Didn’t feel like anyone was trying to dupe me or upcharge much. The lenses got done FAST (3-4 business days). Overall, I am satisfied and would come back again. Here are some photos of our finished glasses.

Lakeshore Optical has the best, newest, and most stylish frames in the Valley. As a self-proclaimed frame connoisseur, I can honestly say they have every option you could want. Any glasses wearer knows how important it is to find the right frame, and Lakeshore delivers at every price point without sacrificing style. What sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Zach, Gwen, and Alan are fantastic. They make the process of picking out frames genuinely fun, as it should be! They were patient and accommodating as I tried on (literally) dozens of frames, and their input was much appreciated. Not to mention they offer free adjustments! The whole team is warm, personable, and a pleasure to work with. I’m so glad I found this optometrist’s office, and it’s no surprise they’ve been in business for 45 years. Highly recommend!
I had a wonderful experience thanks to Zach! He was incredibly friendly, patient, and genuinely took the time to help me find the perfect pair of glasses. He listened to what I was looking for, offered great suggestions, and never made me feel rushed. On top of that, he had a great sense of humor and made the whole experience enjoyable. Outstanding customer service from start to finish. Thank you, Zach, for making what can sometimes be a stressful process so easy and fun. I absolutely love my new glasses!
I’m a recent transplant from Florida to Phoenix Arizona and I’m an avid pickleball player. Through some new friends in pickleball, I was referred to Lakeshore Optical. I’ve been reluctant in my older age to realize my eyesight isn’t what it used to be. After an informative eye exam by Dr. John Castro, I finally realized I needed glasses. Alan Singer relentlessly showed me glasses after glasses as I was very particular as to how I looked with glasses. I finally chose two pairs of glasses that I felt comfortable with. I then sat with Zach Singer who informed me of the lens options and what is covered with my insurance. Zach was very professional and knowledgeable of the process. I also found out the business is family owned and they have been in the optical business for four generations 🙏
The frames I chose were beautiful and great quality. I love them and I’m very happy with what I chose. The customer service was also wonderful. The people that work there are incredible salesmen and great at their jobs. If you’re not insured and looking for affordable frames, question what you're being charged for. Thinner lenses, uv protection, anti glare. All wonderful things, but think about it before you tap your card. 195$+ per pair of glasses. What do you REALLY need. It was all clumped together as I was getting mine and I ended up spending an exorbitant amount of money on frames I could find online for 100$ or less. Overall I would recommend this place for the customer service and selection. If you’re looking to get a pair of glasses/ frames/ use the Groupon code and save some money if you’re not insured… this may not be the place for you. If you’re looking for a wide selection of lovely frames, personable customer service, quick, easy, friendly eye exams, and you have a the $ to spend, definitely take the time to visit this business!
