Staff and the doctor were friendly and efficient. Very nice office inside. I am new to the area and the glasses seem reasonable compared to my old doctor.

I came for an eye exam expecting my insurance to cover it and even if it didn't, I thought it couldn't possibly be more than $150-$200 at the most for an exam. I got the bill and it was over $300. My insurance didn't cover any of it. But that's not the point, my biggest disappointment is how expensive this place is. I never would have imagined a simple eye exam would cost over $300. After going back and forth with them, they finally took $60 off the bill. But they are still WAY more expensive than surrounding eye clinics. I just got a quote from a clinic in a town nearby for the same exam and there price was $159. Another clinic quoted me $210. I wish I could go back in time and ask the price of the exam before going here. I never would have made an appt. If I knew how expensive they would be.

I have been going to Mootz Eye Clinic in Le Sueur for many years. I love the service and the friendly atmosphere. Whether you are there for an eye exam, help picking out new glasses, or finding a new brand of contacts the staff is friendly and very helpful. Dr. Jeff is excellent! His exams are fast, efficient and thorough. He is very honest in his opinions and has never steered me wrong. He is an expert in picking out which brand of contacts one should be wearing and will do whatever it takes to find a brand that is most comfortable for you. The ladies in the office are amazing at fixing any issues with your glasses. I cannot count the number of times they have rescued or fixed my glasses on a walk in basis within only a few minutes. I love Mootz Eye Clinic and will travel from far or near to have them help me. Thank you for all the wonderful service!

Recently I was in the need of glasses repair and contact correction. I went to Mootz Eye Care for HELP! First, I sought the assistance of Joyce. I handed her a bag of glasses parts thinking these parts would need to be sent out for repair or order new ones. In a short period of time, Joyce appears from the back repair room with my glasses ready to wear. She is AMAZING! Second, I sought the help of Dr. Jeff. You see I love my contacts and since starting my eye care with Mootz I have always had very clear and excellent comfort with my contacts. This had changed in the last few weeks. After a discussion and eye exam, Dr. Jeff quickly determined that my eyes had indeed improved and my contacts were too strong. With my new contacts in, I could not have been happier. My family has used Mootz Eye Care for many years and have always been satisfied with the staff and their ability to problem solve especially as our eyes change with age and activity.
