10yrs ago I shot a staple directly into my eye(perfectly shot through every layer of my eye) & Dr Lindberg was the on-call specialist at the hospital(because it's ALWAYS after hours when you have an emergency, right?). I thank God for this man because I could have not only lost my sight in that eye, I could have also lost the entire eye ball(I had pulled the staple out myself beforeheading to the er, don't ever do that). I wasn't in any pain until the next day when I had a follow up appt w Dr Lindberg in his Greenville office. I am REALLY good w pain but THIS was far worse than I've ever felt. I was hurried into the exam room, & my mom(she drove me because I couldn't drive myself)was told to rush me up to the surgical center because I needed to have an implant put into my eye asap. Dr Lindberg was kind, caring, a wonderful surgeon, and so all-round wonderful through all of it! I've had my artificial lens in my eye for 10yrs now w NO problems whatsoever! I'm an artist and my sight is so vital to me living my best life, I owe it all to Dr Lindberg! He's a wonderful Dr, but above that, he's a wonderful man! I no longer use a staple gun w out eye protection lol!
