It took me a while to write this review since returning home from Puerto Rico about three weeks ago, but I will never forget the impeccable service and treatment I received at LensCrafters in Mayaguez. In particular, I want to commend Emmanuel Martinez for his exceptional customer service!! I came in feeling very stressed and concerned after losing my Meta glasses, but Emmanuel immediately put me at ease. He treated me with professionalism, kindness, and genuine care, taking the time to help me understand my options and guiding me through the process with patience and clarity! What stood out most was his thoughtful approach and willingness to go above and beyond to help me. He turned a frustrating situation into a smooth and reassuring experience. Employees like Emmanuel make a real difference, and he absolutely deserves to be recognized and commended for his outstanding service. Thank you so much!!

I went to the Mayagüez Mall store. Let's keep it simple, it was a good experience. I was very pleased that my salesperson, Andrea, gave me the time and space to shop around by myself and was there when I needed her, either to answer any questions or when I had doubts about things. She was extremely informative and very nice. Of course, she was also there when I made my selection and gave me feedback on the glasses and how they looked. She also helped me look for glasses when I didn't know where else to look. Excellent customer service on her part, and i had a very satisfying shopping experience.
We had an excellent experience at LensCrafters in Mayagüez. The store was immaculate, and we were greeted immediately upon walking in. We arrived early for our appointment, but the staff welcomed us, checked us in right away, and gave us trays so we could start looking at frames while we waited. The optometrists were outstanding — on time, thorough, and never rushed. The exams were detailed and professional, and we felt well taken care of throughout the process. Afterward, we worked with the optician for our fittings. Although we don’t speak Spanish very well, she spoke excellent English and was incredibly pleasant, patient, and helpful. She made the entire experience smooth and comfortable. Highly recommend this location — professional, efficient, and truly customer-focused.
Revised Review: Upon collecting my two glasses, (one clear, one sunglasses) and my contacts, I feel the need to update my rating. Although I stand that the initial shopping and examination experience was superior. I am very disappointed in my follow-up experience. Whereas the first one was really focused on my priorities and needs. The subsequent interactions have been unsavory for the poor attitude of some of the employees. Their demeanor to customers that are picking up their prescription is rude, insensitive, and borderline disrespectful. They make you feel like we are taking their time from making a new sale, even when there are no shopping customers. I stopped buying from Lens Crafters for a similar experience several years ago. I bought my new glasses from Warby Parker for almost 8 years. But I wanted to bring business to the mall and PR this time around. Buy local, even from a US-based chain. My experience so far is making me regret selecting LC once again. I should have gone to a boutique store operated by a doctor - that although has less of a selection, they treat you with respect because they want your return business. Initial Review: My experience was superb at the Mayaguez Mall branch. Jeanneliz, my assigned consultant, made me feel like she had the best deal for me. I ended up purchasing two sets: one for work and one pair of sunglasses. What I appreciated was Jeanneliz’s patience and honesty in the way various glasses fit my desired look. The doctor was professional and thorough. He heard my concerns and took his time in my evaluation. This is my second time purchasing from Lens Crafters. I’ll update my review once I get my glasses.
Professional customer service - Employee was very polite and took her time explaining to me the procedures on my insurance with the glasses I selected.... 5 star 🌟
