Great experience at LensCrafters. Leila who helped me with my Tiffany prescription glasses was patient, knowledgeable, and never made me feel rushed. She took the time to answer my questions and made sure everything was right before I left. You can tell she genuinely cares about her customers. Really appreciate the great service!

On June 29, 2026, I was scheduled for a comprehensive eye examination at 11:20 a.m. at the LensCrafters location in the Danbury Fair Mall in Danbury, Connecticut. Upon checking in for my appointment, I asked if I could use the restroom and was informed that the restrooms were reserved exclusively for employees. I was directed to leave the store and use the restroom at the nearby Barnes & Noble. My eye examination lasted approximately 40 minutes, not including the additional time required to select and purchase eyewear. During this visit, my family paid a total of $1,903.93, including vision insurance benefits and out-of-pocket expenses. I would also like to note that Amanda (583032), who assisted during my visit, was excellent—extremely professional and personable—and provided a very positive experience. As an organization that provides healthcare services in addition to retail optical products, I was surprised that patients receiving clinical eye care are not provided access to restroom facilities. Patients seeking eye care include older adults, children, pregnant women, individuals with chronic medical conditions, and those taking medications that may increase the need for restroom access. Requiring patients to leave the premises during their visit or directing them to another business may create unnecessary inconvenience and does not reflect the level of patient-centered care typically associated with healthcare organizations. I respectfully ask that LensCrafters review and reconsider its restroom access policy for patients and guests. Providing reasonable access to restroom facilities for individuals receiving healthcare services would enhance the patient experience, demonstrate compassion, and better align with the standards expected of a company that combines clinical eye care with retail services. Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope this feedback will lead to a positive policy change that benefits future patients and their families. Sincerely, Marilyn S. Receipt#: 1119944

I had a fantastic experience at LensCrafters thanks to the associates who helped me choose and fit my new glasses. From the moment I walked in, both Leila and Susanna were welcoming, patient, and genuinely attentive to my needs. They took the time to understand my style preferences, face shape, and prescription requirements, guiding me through a variety of options without ever making me feel rushed. What stood out most was their expertise and honesty—they offered thoughtful recommendations and explained the differences between frames and lenses in a way that was easy to understand. Once I made my selection, they ensured the fit was perfect, making careful adjustments so the glasses felt comfortable and secure. Overall, the service was professional, friendly, and personalized. I left feeling confident in my choice and truly appreciated the care and attention I received.

After my eye exam, I ventured in the showroom to explore getting a new pair of glasses. After picking out a few frames, Alexis assisted me choosing the right pair of lenses. She provided information about the available options so I could make the right decision to fit my needs. Thanks Alexis for all your assistance.
