Poor customer service! I walked in and waited 10 minutes before anyone even greeted me, then after another 10 minutes of waiting they asked what I was coming in for and I explained I needed to order contacts and they told me they don’t handle contact orders the doctor does so they brought me into the back to wait to talk to the doctor. 10 minutes later I was able to talk to them and explained I had a not expired prescription from another doctor but they no longer accept my insurance and LensCrafters does. She then told me that she could not process that and I would need to wait for the doctors so I took a seat and waited another 30 minutes and still no one to simply order contacts. So after an hour of waiting with 2 children for something that should have only taken 5-10 minutes I left and will take my business elsewhere where my time and business will be appreciated.

I would highly recommend a LensCrafters in Bellingham. I went today to purchase two pairs of glasses. I was met by one of the representatives guided me through the complete process. It was a great experience all the way around.

Extremely poor customer service at LensCrafters (City Eye location: 249 Hartford Ave Space A170, Bellingham, MA 02019). On 3/10/26, I waited over 2 hours for assistance. The optician could not complete my order because he had questions about my prescription, so I had to leave and planned to return. When I came back on 3/14/26, I waited over 4 hours just to have measurements taken for my glasses. When I asked about the delay, the manager, Janae, responded rudely and said that if I couldn’t wait, I could leave. There was no apology and no effort to help or reschedule. After two visits and several hours of waiting, I felt my time and business were not valued. I will be taking my business elsewhere and cannot recommend this location. I hope corporate management reviews the service at this location and addresses these customer service issues.

Beautifully set up and clean store. We were helped right away and service was fast. Very accommodating even just for switching eye pads on glasses quickly.

I had a wonderful experience from my eye exam to selecting my frames and final fitting of my glasses @ pick up. Great store @ Charles River Center in Bellingham, MA. Best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time.
