Lenscrafters

Neil was perhaps the best salesperson I have ever experienced (shopping for glasses or any other product/service). He looked up all of my insurance info and whatnot while I was browsing and helped me find just the right glasses and sunglasses in my price range. He kindly, knowledgeably, and patiently went over my options without pressuring me. He made everything easy for me. I also appreciated the store’s large selection.

Came to the store for a basic contact lens fitting so I can refill my one year contact lenses supply in store. However, the front desk staff, Ingrid, told me that this location ONLY offers PREMIUM contact lens fittings, which means I have to pay double the price. This made no sense at all! I showed her the distinction between basic and premium contact lens fittings (Premium lens fitting normally applies to multifocal, toric/astigmatism, gas-permeable, or scleral lense). And I explained to her that I always have spherical contact lens, I had previously received my eye exam at this same store and basic contact lens fitting at the North Bethesda LensCrafters. Despite this, she simply dismissed my concerns and insisted that every LensCrafters location is different and that this store ONLY offers premium fittings! She didn’t even bother to check with the doctor or the other staff. Because of the distorted information and her lack of efforts to helping customer, i decided to cancel the appointment. Then, she even tried to charge me for late cancel fee! I decided to work with another store who can offer basic contact lens fitting for me. I have filed a complaint with the Lenscrafter corporate. Please have batter training for the front desk staff!

This is the third time purchasing new lens and eyeglasses at this store. Each time I have had such positive shopping experiences for eyewear. Melissa is so knowledgeable, guiding me through the rules of my insurance coverage and pointing out frames which would work for my budget. She even made sure my order was processed on the correct date. Joby, Store Market Manager, helped me to shop for frames as well. She is patient and offered excellent advice. I will definitely continue to be a customer of this Lenscrafters!

Joby was a amazing. So helpful and very skilled. They fixed my glasses for free even though i did not purchase them there! Will come again and buy a pair next time :)

This place is so lovely and I have taken both of my parents there for excelent service. My mother with dementia received and eye exam and glasses consultation and it was no easy feat!!! My father had some damaged glasses that they cleaned up and repaired free of charge. They did come from a lenscrafters in another state but they didn't even ask. Heather was the lovely woman who helped my father on April 6,2026. She was kind and patient and fixed his glasses in 10 minutes, and also cleaned them and replaces the nose pads. I offered her a tip and she refused. Thank you Heather!!
