Beautiful new LensCrafters location at Short Hills Mall, but unfortunately the customer service did not match the store. I’m a regular LensCrafters customer and stopped in to try colored contact lenses before deciding which color/brand to order. I completely understand the prescription requirements—the issue was the way everything was communicated. The staff was not very attentive, and their overall attitude made the experience unpleasant. The store was busy, but I still expected a more helpful and welcoming approach, especially from a brand I regularly purchase from. Very disappointing experience.

I have been a customer of Lens Crafters for many and came from a Location that was transferred. I was given a friendly phone call letting me know the new location was open. Though I wasnt able to book an appointment at the time of the call since I didn't have my calendar at the ready, booking online was easy. My appointment was wonderful and the staff of Eyewellniss were lovely. After my appointment I began my search for new glasses. Taybian was there to help me. She was friendly and just the right amount of attentive, not hovering over me but able to assist right away as soon as I had questions. She helped walk me through the whole process of selecting my lenses. This was especially helpful since I would be getting progressives for the first time. When it was time to pick up my glasses she remembered me. Overall this was an excellent experience thanks to her.
I am an old LensCrafters patron, transferred from the Livingston store to the Short Hills, NJ store. I was seen by a knowledgeable, courteous, respectful and intelligent young woman named Aneesha. She helped me select a great pair of glasses using my insurance and LensCrafters coupons to obtain the best price and look. She also taught me something no other optician ever taught me about glasses. So glad I met Aneesha and looking forward to having her "fit" my glasses for my face when my order comes in. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I waited several minutes for another employee who never came back to help me. Aneesha walked along, asked if I was being helped, stepped into the void and successfully waited on me.
I have bought two pair of glasses for significantly higher price than my other pairs. After less than a year using them, the lenses started peeling and cracking. The filter they use on the plastic lens is such a low quality that I have never seen such a thing in my life before even after using the same pairs over 5 years. I have reached out to them on Facebook, they never responded. I tried to reach outon their website, it's not possible to send the message (it simply doesn't work to let you send the message). Overpriced for bad quality service. Attached some examples of what the lenses look like after 8 months of semi regular use (as these aren't my only pairs).
Kenneth was the best. We spent 2 hours looking for the perfect couple of pairs of glasses for my self and my wife. He made it feel like only 15 minutes had gone by. He helped us get great pricing on everything. Beautiful new location at the Short Hills Mall!
