Look East is a wonderful small, independent business. The equipment that have for examining the Spherical Organ are very cool and, sophisticated. I came in yesterday, (7/22/2026), to have a checkup. I purchased my third pair of Glasses. The staff are all great! Friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable. I will be a customer for life.
This was our second visit to Look East for my 8-year-old son, and once again we had a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and patient. The staff member who did my son’s eye exam before we met with the doctor was so friendly and gentle, making him feel comfortable and at ease throughout the testing process. The doctor was absolutely amazing. She took the time to explain in detail. She answered all of our questions thoroughly and made sure we understood everything without ever making us feel rushed. We truly appreciate the care, professionalism and kindness of the entire team. Thank you for making the whole experience so positive. We highly recommend Look East to anyone looking for exceptional pediatric eye care!
My mom and I visited Look East for the first time today. We had such a wonderful experience at this office from beginning to end. Even before we arrived, I noticed the kindness and warmth of the gentleman who scheduled our appointment over the phone. Dr Burgon was exceptional. She was thorough, informative, and incredibly respectful. She took the time to answer all of my questions thoughtfully and thoroughly, and I truly appreciated her humility, kindness, and collaborative approach to the appointment so much. We left feeling informed, cared for, and genuinely happy that we chose this practice. It is refreshing to find a healthcare team that combines expertise with such warmth and respect. I highly recommend Look East and will absolutely be telling my friends about my experience, as well as returning for my future eye care needs.
It was great! This was literally my First time going to an eye doctor. I don’t wear contacts or glasses but I am diabetic so I needed to have my eyes checked. The staff were all very friendly and efficient, Dr.Burgon took time to show me my scans and explain what she saw and what it meant. Also, what the roadmap would be moving forward. Highly recommend this location!
Look East has brilliant optometrists and a stylish selection of eyeglasses. We treat it like our one-stop shop for all eye care needs. The fact that it's a locally owned small business, and you can support East Nashville by supporting them, is a bonus! Shout out to Dr. Burgon, an amazing optometrist, but really everyone on the staff is fantastic. Go check them out!
