Lookout Eyecare

Brought my kids in for routine eye exams and Dr. Urbina was so wonderful. He took his time with their initial exams and did not rush though their appointments. He explained everything in detail, including new technologies and how they evaluate risks and potential for vision changes. I have never been to an eye doctor that was so thorough! He was very kind and made my kids feel comfortable as well. I love that they are also involved in our local community. We will definitely continue to see Dr Urbina and Dr Atencio!

I can’t say enough good things about Lookout Eyewear and Dr. Urbina. I was having an issue with my eye and was understandably concerned, so my wife called Lookout to see if there was any way I could be seen right away. They were incredibly accommodating and squeezed me in at the very last minute, even though they were essentially at the end of their day. Dr. Urbina saw me right away and was extremely patient, kind, and thorough. He was able to quickly identify what he thought was going on, but rather than simply stopping there, he took the time to rule out anything more serious. He spent another 30 minutes or so doing additional tests and making sure everything checked out. That extra level of care really meant a lot to us. It gave both my wife and me the peace of mind we needed, knowing that he took the time to be thorough rather than simply making a quick diagnosis. Dr. Urbina was wonderful, and the staff was just as accommodating and welcoming. They went above and beyond to take care of me when I needed it most. I would absolutely recommend Lookout Eyewear to anyone looking for an eye doctor in San Antonio. Five stars all the way!

Big shout out to Dr. Urbina and his team there @ Lookout Eyecare. I have worn glasses for a fairly long time (36 years). I had what felt like was the most informative eye exam from Dr. Urbina. He didn't try to sell me anything or take advantage of concerns I had. He was honest and straight forward. I bought new / replacement prescription sunglasses. And I couldn't be more pleased with how they turned out. If you need eye exam, eye care or eyewear,... Lookout is where to go in SATX!

Dr. Atencio has to absolutely be one of the best I’ve ever seen. Her bedside manner and demeanor exudes care and kindness. Medicine has become a commodity and it’s all about the money. You are even seeing it in the vision and dental fields. So to see her positive attitude, warm welcome, and attentiveness to care was so refreshing. I will never recommend anyone else and she has gained my full trust and confidence. I cannot say enough about her.

Dr. Tony Urbina and his entire staff were outstanding. From the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly, professional, and made me feel welcome. Dr. Urbina took the time to thoroughly explain everything, answered all of my questions, and never made me feel rushed. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and takes pride in providing excellent care. The office was clean, organized, and the whole visit was efficient from start to finish. If you’re looking for an eye doctor who is knowledgeable, personable, and truly puts patients first, I highly recommend Dr. Tony Urbina. I’ll definitely be coming back for all of my future eye care needs.
