I can say that maybe for regular medical checkups without any kind of risk, you might consider going to this place. I received prenatal care here and, thanks to God and having a healthy pregnancy, everything went well. However, my only complaint was in Pediatrics. I will summarize my terrible experience: I took my daughter there from the very first day she developed a fever, and her pediatrician, Katherine Vooys, NP, told me she only had a flu virus. I didn’t settle for just that opinion, so I took her to the Emergency Room, and they said the same thing. Immediately, I came to Boston, and even now, two months later, we are still in the hospital in Intensive Care after my daughter became critically ill. Only God knows what would have happened if I hadn’t sought more opinions. My daughter was always healthy, but my biggest complaint is that on that day, when I told her pediatrician that the fever wouldn’t go down and that something was wrong with my daughter, she never investigated further to find out what was happening. I will just say this: do not settle for a single opinion when it comes to your children, and do not take them to Pediatrics at this place. Today my daughter is still improving, but I am here to tell parents to always stay alert, just as I did, and not to rely on just one opinion—especially not from this very incompetent place.

I love LCHC, but trying to get in touch with anyone to make or reschedule and appointment is near impossible. And don't even ask me about the my chart bull I go though every time I try to log in. I do love the doctors and rest of the staff there. BUT PLEASE DO SOMETHING WITH THE CALL CENTER. I don't enjoy needing to call back a million times to just get hung on.
Horrible customer service. You can tell no one ever wants to do their job here. You have to wait more than 10 business days for a doctor to fill out a form for you. They also called me day of an appointment I had to reschedule me. Then called me again to reschedule the 2nd appointment and was notified I was marked as no show for an appointment they cancelled !
This place has gone to shit. I had to move back to mass for 10 months and they are refusing to take me as a patient until then. They told me to go to the emergency room every month for refills on controlled medication that they originally put me on. They know the emergency room will not give refills. Thats what management came up with for a solution. Would be cheaper to fly back to florida every month for my refills.
Lowell Community Health Center. I never had any negative experience there until today. With a snobby Hispanic front desk girl at “Adults Medicine” Floor level 3 right-side window. I was next in line. As she proceed to say NEXT. I walk up to her, stating my name and appointment time getting to the point. She paused in disbelief, shakes her head and said, “Good Morning??!” Forces me greet her first. Thinking im rude. Not everyone needs to greet you, not everyone is happy. You’re not important. You giving an attitude requesting and shaking your head makes you rude and entitled.
