We have absolutely loved our experience at Lumen Eyecare! Every member of the staff is knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly kind. We had back-to-back appointments for our whole family, spent nearly two hours in the office, and even ordered several pairs of new glasses—all with several young children in tow. The staff never made us feel rushed and were so patient, welcoming, and caring toward our kids the entire time. Dr. Lock and the entire team truly go above and beyond to make every visit a positive experience. My day started with stress and fear and after my visit I feel relief and supported in whatever my eye future holds. Having an increase of floaters and a flash in my eye I worried what was happening. My doctor was on vacation, a call to Wolf Eye in Des Moines was a bunch of questions and then I was told I could just see my doctor when she returned. I called Lock at Jordan Creek and they squeezed me in at their Urbandale Lumen location that same day. Abby greeted me with a smile and “hello” which started my appointment positively. I was ran thru a few machine tests and pictures of the back of my eye and then taken to the exam room. Dr. Lock everything with me and I did not feel rushed. I do have something happening that she said we will watch but I felt so much better after we talked in detail. I am looking forward to having my appointments at this beautiful office.

Their expertise and patient-centered approach gave me confidence that I was receiving high-quality care. The office is new, clean, and well organized. My appointment was scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on June 24, and I was seen promptly with no wait time. I truly appreciated the personalized attention I received throughout my visit.
