5 STARS in every category! For the past 15 years, I have been a patient at the Mack Eye Center. I highly recommend this facility and would return to IL if I were to relocate to a different state. Dr. Mack and his staff are exceptional. They demonstrate an unbelievable level of professionalism and compassion towards their patients. Dr. Mack meticulously manages his business operations to ensure that his patients’ overall health is also closely monitored. He’s helped me with recommendations for potential issues I’ve brought up during the health and medication part of the exam. He performed my cataract surgeries and recently conducted procedures for dry eye, which are a game changer for my vision. If you’re looking for amazing overall eye care, this is the place to go!

Have no issue with Dr Mack just with his disrespectful incompetent staff especially his leader or office manager who is a disgrace. Last appointment I tried to have with them they couldn't find my insurance record and I've been there several times prior. I tried to tell them that I do have active insurance but they wouldn't listen after 45 minutes of them calling I don't know who they still couldn't get it verified. I called Blue Cross Blue Shield and had to hand the phone to the genius office manager to show that I have insurance and always have. Instead of apologizing for 45 minutes of stress and embarrassment in the lobby because they are unprofessional and loud in front of patients, their useless and fearless office manager says you better hurry her up because she has a lot of tests to do and 45 minutes have already passed because of this. Hey thanks Captain obvious. This was your fault and you owed an apology instead of doing that you tried to still make it look like I was some kind of an idiot in the lobby in front of people. When I finally got sick of it and stood up for myself and said that that was ignorant what they did and I solved it in 2 minutes when I got Blue Cross Blue Shield on the phone their useless and spineless office manager came out and said that the doctor didn't want to see me. I guess that was her feeling empowered because her personal life is less than adequate. Again I have no issue with the doctor but their staff is a bunch of clowns and they should not be representing him. Waste of time and what a waste of his talent. Disgraceful

If you need an eye dr go here!! After months of care from a different dr and no relief, Dr. Mack had me feeling better in 2 days. We set a plan for my severe dry eyes and I couldn't believe the difference. Dr Mack explained everything and answered every question. Dr Mack and his staff are all amazing. I will never go anywhere else and I highly recommend him.

A new insurance plan this year forced me to seek a new Ophthalmologist. A dear friend of mine recommended Dr. Mack & I was delighted to find him in my network. On my first visit, I knew immediately my eyes were in very good hands. Dr. Mack and his team were extremely thorough, pleasant & dedicated.in both words & actions. During my exam, my blood sugar dropped quite low & Dr Mack himself, ran to an area where they keep snacks & brought me back a granola bar. Now that’s kindness extraordinaire! I am grateful for the opportunity to write a glowing review for Dr. Mack & his team. Thank you.
