Mact Sonora Optometry

So far not a great experience with optometry. I went in for my exam, chose my glasses, waited 6 weeks. Called around the 5th to check in and was told the optometrist would give me a call back and I would receive a message with shopping information. Finally received a call on the 6th week and was told my information was lost and I’d have to come pick another pair of glasses and start the process all over. Went in, chose my glasses, was told it will be another 4-6 weeks. Checked in again on the 5th week and phone was going straight to voicemail. Left two messages. Got a call back on the 6th week and was told they had received my glasses but they were damaged and needed to go back to the lab and now waiting another 4/6 weeks. Still no glasses. Still waiting. Not a great experience.

Waited over a month for an appointment. When I showed up they didn't have my appointment because their system had gone down and they had already booked the day. Said I could sit and wait around which is BS since I had to leave work for my appointment. Maybe have a paper back up so people are not inconvenienced when your system goes down.

The optometrist is great, but their billing department is horrible. I pay when I'm there and then they send me another bill for the same thing...

Horrible service. Place needs better leadership and the workers need to learn how to treat people. Would leave zero stars if possible

I will no longer attend this office for eye care. I had fallen and broke my new glasses, I went in almost a month ago to get them replaced and still no word on my glasses arriving. I went into check to see what's the hold up they're sitting at the lab. Because of the fact I'm on Medi-Cal I have to wait an extra two weeks before I can get them. Such nonsense I need my glasses to drive I haven't been able to drive, I can't read a book let alone read anything else without them. It's bullshit how people get treated when they don't have money to fork out. I'm done with this office I'm going to get my prescription and go else where, maybe I'll get my glasses faster.
