The level of professionalism and care at Magnolia Eye Care is top notch. Everyone on staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable. They do their best to help keep things running on time, while still making sure you feel comfortable and all questions are answered. No one likes going to the doctor, but the atmosphere here is extremely welcoming so you are put at ease. I have been coming to Dr. Sonja Makitan for the past three years and she is wonderful. She knows her stuff, listens to you, and is very good at explaining what is going on and what you need to do in simple terms. She is very thorough and cares about her patients. I have dry eye disease and her suggested care regime has absolutely been helping. Most importantly, she is reasonable and knows we are all not likely to do everything we are supposed to. She always says “progress not perfection.” I truly appreciate this type of bedside manner and it makes me want to be proactive in my eye care.
