The experience first started with the staff when I went to book my appointment. The person on the other end of the phone was noticeably warm and friendly, which is sadly rare these days. She was very helpful and answered all of my questions and let me know how my insurance would work with them. The doctor was great, explained everything he was doing and again answered all my questions and made some very helpful suggestions for a different type of progressive lens that I should like better. The office was very modern and updated and clean and had a nice scent as well. Overall this was a great experience and I would recommend them.

Dr. Schechter was friendly, kind, and professional. He seemed careful and thorough in checking my eyes. His assistant and the woman who fit me for glasses were both cheerful and warm, and the office is bright and pleasant. They are anxious not to blind-side you; I received a text the day before my appointment informing me of all of charges, and what my co-pay would be. I always find choosing glasses stressful, but did not feel rushed or pressured in the least by the optical staff. There is not a huge selection, but what they have is quality. When I said it was hard for me to see what I looked like in the different frames without my prescription glasses, Dr. Schechter overheard and said he would give me some contacts so I could see better. This was really helpful. Also, before he turned me over to the optical staff, he handed me a pair of glasses he thought were a good choice for me, and these ended up being the ones my husband liked best on me (he had come along to pick his own glasses). After trying on many different pairs, they ended up being my favorite as well.
Excellent visit! Dr. Schechter and his staff did a great job with my 7 year old's first eye exam! They were so patient and caring and it couldn't have gone better.
I wanted to change my mother’s eye doctor from Center City Philadelphia. Her insurance company gave several places . After reaching out to 4 snd wasn't please with the verbal interaction. I waited a day and tried 5th on this list which was Main Line Family Eye Care…From the initial telephone call I knew I was“home”. The appointment was awesome. My mother is on a walker and the gentle care taken was warning. The doctor was quite professional. He communicate to my mother and not to me for my mother. The prices wasn't bad either. Our annual appointment was made before leaving.
Excellent little optometrist office, complete with the newest screening equipment and very pleasant and professional staff!
