Maine Optometry

Getting to Gorham is an hour drive for me and there are lots of optometrists between here and there. I come to Gorham only because of Dr. Bishop. She is professional and courteous but most importantly I feel like she is genuinely concerned about me as her patient and as a person! I know she has my best interests at heart!

I called in the afternoon and was able to be seen first thing next morning. Dr Wills listened carefully to my symptoms and was able to quickly diagnose the underlying issue and explain it to me clearly. I found her to be professional, confident, and approachable. I couldn’t ask for more. Thank you!

I had an excellent visit. Doctor Leach listened to my concerns and gave a thorough exam in a timely way. The doctor was able to make a diagnosis. Also the diagnostic showed a second issue. The specialist was contacted rapidly and is seeing me soon. The care plan is moving forward well.

It was as I anticipated. A wonderful visit with Dr Bishop. She is such a kind and helpful person. She is so professional with a "down to earth" manner. She patiently and thoroughly answered all of my questions. It never felt hurried or dismissive. The two young ladies who took care of me with preliminary tests were also most attentive and skillfully guided me through the process. I never felt that they were just doing a job, but are fulfilling a calling with a high level of intentional care. And, as always, the ladies at checking in and checking out are the start and finish of a super visit. Thank you all!!
