I had bunion surgery at MSC this morning. It was such a good experience. Heated blankets, a wonderful team of nurses, anesthesiologist and doctor that worked incredibly well together made the surgery easy. The team clearly cared about me and we had great conversations while they prepped me and helped me get back on my feet to leave. Clean, punctual, friendly, computers worked, and i was well- monitored the whole time. Recommend highly!!

I had surgery here yesterday for a deviated septum and the staff and especially nurses were all so professional and fun! They created a caring and positive environment that alleviated as much of my anxiety as possible, especially Nicolette and Michael! When they put a needle in my hand for the IV, that started a fight or flight response since I'd never hand a needle in my hand before, so they quickly helped me as I felt I was about to pass out, laying me down and getting me ice packs, and waited to continue the pre-surgery steps until those symptoms passed - no one rushed me out of that. When I was woken up after surgery, I was actually sleeping and dreaming, so I was pulled out of a dream and very confuised, and instinctively reached to make sure my hair was okay lol, and the nurses all assured me I looked great though I'm sure it was quite the opposite, but I loved the optimism! I have sentimental rings for passed on loved ones that I wear daily, and my doctor held them in his pocket during my surgery. Seconds after waking up the nurses were asking where on my hands they go so I could immediately have them back on, and I really appreciated that as well. Honestly a 10/10 experience, and really grateful for the care I received.
I recently had my meniscus repair surgery at Manhattan Surgery Center, and I cannot express how grateful I am for the exceptional care I received! From the moment I walked in, the reception staff was welcoming and efficient, making the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. The nursing staff was nothing short of excellent. They were attentive, kind, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout my entire experience. Their professionalism and compassion truly stood out, and I felt like I was in great hands every step of the way. The care I received was exquisitely good, from pre-operative preparation to post-operative recovery. I was thoroughly informed about each step of the process, which helped ease my anxiety and made me feel confident in my surgery. Overall, I highly recommend Manhattan Surgery Center to anyone in need of surgical care. Their outstanding team provides an exceptional level of service, and I am so grateful for the excellent care I received during my meniscus repair surgery. Five stars all the way! Thank you for making my experience as positive as possible!
My life partner had cataracts with emphasis on "HAD" that is Until she met Doctor Kenneth Rosenthal Before she could not see one foot in front of her. I had to read everything to her and describe what was on TV. So I Googled Ophthalmologist and cataracts and ( Thanks to GOOGLE ) found ... Doctor Kenneth Rosenthal Upon meeting the good doctor though very professional Doctor Rosenthal was kind compassionate truly listened took time to explain all concerns in everyday language. (And had a sense of humor.) We felt like we were speaking to a friend and immediately got the feeling that this man truly cares about you and feels for you. We knew we had come to the right place. The surgery was performed at. Manhattan Surgery Center ( 619 west 54th street ) across from Dewitt Clinton Park The center is convenient to transportation , a friendly security guard Jim welcomed us at the front door. Upstairs the waiting room was very clean the atmosphere was relaxing (one lady fell asleep ) my wife uses a walker so the receptionist came to our seat , the room is comfortable NOT Noisy... NOT Institutional no stark lighting , everyone is polite patient helpful and friendly. The surgery was fast and painless and my wife could see immediately afterward. Would I recommend Manhattan Surgery Center to a friend ? Absolutely !!!!
My son had surgery yesterday and it was a surprisingly positive experience. Everyone was kind and professional and took good care of us. A special thank you to Andrew from billing/benefits coordination who went over and above to help us with an insurance issue. Truly extraordinary customer service!
