Overall, the clinic is very good. The gynecologist was kind, professional, and caring, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, my experience with the gynecology nurse was completely different. I greeted her twice, and she didn't acknowledge me either time. From the moment I walked in, she came across as unpleasant and impatient. Instead of making me feel cared for, she made me feel interrogated. When I told her that her attitude was inappropriate, she simply replied, THAT'S JUST HOW I AM. Patients deserve respect, empathy, and kindness. No one should leave feeling worse because of how they were treated.

I recently called this clinic in regards to making a new patient appointment for my father after his current PCP clinic seized operation and his insurance recommended this location since they have Spanish speaking representatives. The day I called I was told how the new patient procedure work and was told to call back the next day to see what opening are available for new patients, when I called the next day and spoke to a representative they told that all the new patients appointments were filled and the I should had call earlier. First and foremost when they told me to call back the next day they didn’t give me a specific time to call in, so when I called around 11 AM, they didn’t have an appointment to give my father and on top of that if they did have an appointment he was gonna have to wait an entire month to be seen by there doctor. Anyhow I was able to find a different provider closer to my father resident and was able to get a new patient appointment with no hesitation. If you’re a new patient looking for an appointment, save yourself the headache and look somewhere else. Sad.
May be one of the worst health centers I’ve ever had the displeasure of having to interact with. Registration desk holds up the patients and have a clear lack of understanding on how to be the first point of contact for people that are there to get the help they need. At the very least, the clerks can bring in or are provided customized keyboards. While they are 5-7 nurses at the their respective stations, it seems like very few are there to actually get things done. Just an awful experience in a neighborhood that can benefit from better leadership to run a health center.
Edit a year later. They still don’t have it together. Don’t go here if you can avoid. I will finally be switching, as the women’s center is nasty and the staff is rude to English speaking customers. Impossible to get an appointment. Staff does not care and is quite rude. Been waiting a month for a vaccine and instead of calling me in they handed out all the vaccines and have put me on a 2 month waiting list. I really tried to be patient as the director called me a month ago to explain the issues they are facing, but after another month, these people genuinely do not care. …..after posting this review I received a call to hurry up and rush in for the last dose they found laying around for me. It was actually insane. I couldn’t end up making the appointment since it was so last minute and forced.
This is the worst clinic ever. I have never seen a clinic not care about there senior patience as this one. Just because you service low income patience does not mean you do not provide customer service. You call all day and no one picks up the phone. This clinic needs to be audited. I would give no stars.
