I have been going to Marietta Eye for 2+ years. I find their doctor's and all their Staff to be kind, precise, professional and caring. If I had anything I would like to see differently it would be that their response time after leaving a message was more timely. I especially, like Dr. Akers and her Staff...very thorough!! They explain everything!! They listen to my concerns and find a cause or remedy. They are right on!!

Marietta Eye has been my eye care facility for over 25 years. They have been and are extremely professional and take their job seriously. They listen closely to what you are saying is wrong and they ask questions to make sure they are going in the right direction with their patients. Then they recommend a treatment plan. I plan to continue my eye care with Marietta Eye fore the next 25 years.
Worst customer service i have ever experienced. I called to set up an apointment as a new client to get contacts. When I asked if I need to schedule an exam to get contacts as a new patient, they transfered me to a Dr who confirmed yes I do. She doesn't do scheduling, and that's fine, transfered me to scheduling, I opted for a call back. A little round about, but OK. Scheduling informed me that all new clients get a one time contact fitting charge. I asked what that is and what is a fitting charge. They refused to give me any answer besides its a one time charge for new clients that they have to make me aware of... I then tried to give them my eye insurance. They informed me that regardless of what my card says, that there is a 3rd party that handles it and I need to call them and find that information out. When I asked if they can do that since I have a literal card that had a me.bership id number and states what kind of insurance I have, they let me know that they have been doing this for a while, they hear that all the time, that im wrong and I need to call back after I get the information bc she can not... I told her just cancel everything. She never asked my name, never asked a question about scheduling, just preceded to tell me im wrong, she's tight, and created hurdle after hurdle. Lost a customer for life. Train your staff better
I recently took my mother to Marietta Eye to choose a frame for her eyeglasses. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the start. Upon entering, we were not greeted, and the staff did not acknowledge us or make us feel welcome. Throughout our visit, we noticed a clear difference in how customers were being engaged. Other customers were greeted, spoken to, and interacted with more openly, while we were largely ignored unless we initiated conversation. The associate assisting us with my mother’s frame was not friendly or warm, which made the experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Overall, the lack of professionalism, customer service, and basic courtesy was very disappointing. Based on this visit, I would not recommend this location or return.
Dr. Justin Wilkin is an exceptional ophthalmologist. He performed my cataract surgery, and the results were excellent, exceeding my expectations. From the very first consultation, he demonstrated great professionalism, clearly explained the procedure, and showed a very compassionate and reassuring bedside manner. The surgery was quick and safe, and the recovery process was very smooth. The postoperative follow-up was thorough and attentive, and he was always willing to answer any questions. Thanks to his expertise and dedication, my vision has improved significantly. I highly recommend Dr. Justin Wilkin to anyone in need of specialized ophthalmologic care, especially cataract surgery. He is a highly skilled physician who is truly committed to his patients’ well-being.
