The old lady greeter at the front of the door needs to clear her attitude. As customers all we are doing is trying to get a cart and move on with our shopping and no one should have to do that while someone is giving them a nasty mean look. The last thing I need while going to the local Walmart is an older woman judging my every move. Will change review once management and higher ups either get rid of her or she herself cleans up her attitude.
DO NOT USE SELF CHECK OUT HERE. I made what you could see in the video was an obvious mistake in scanning one item. (I insisted on seeing the footage even though they said it is against policy to show - which makes them able to accuse more easily. When the team saw it with me, they all agreed that it was a mistake.) Even though I have many other videos through the years proving that I’m honest with my scanning, they asked me to step aside but then locked me into a room, physically barricaded the door even though I was compliant, and wouldn’t let me leave or even talk to my family until they had my social security number, etc. Main staff lady was very rude and abrasive about it. I was more than happy to pay for the single accidentally missed item - which I ultimately did - since that was all I had wanted to do in the first place. I have seen multiple other reviews that sound like the same lady. Walmart needs to address her tone so that it is fair to good faith customers. I understand that Walmart needs to address even mistakes, but this is not good faith business on their end either. Unfortunately the food I bought that day went bad before expiration date. I hate to leave a review like this, but it’s only fair to other patrons. I avoid shopping here now and am glad that Winchester has and is getting better shopping options.
Just moved here from CA and this has to be the biggest Walmart I have ever seen. It's like triple the size of a normal Walmart. I am still in shock at how big this place is. It also has a ton of brands I have never seen in CA. The store is well stocked and the staff is very friendly. I am so happy to have such a neat Walmart near me.
The Winchester Walmart has some of the rudest people working there. The lady at custom at self serve this morning at 7 o’clock walked over to take something off my list that I had rang up twice never said a word to me then she proceeded to stay behind me like I was still in something. We just really need to learn how to say good morning. Let me help you let me take that off just some great customer service scales. Maybe we need a little bit of retraining. This is why I’m looking forward to the two new grocery stores coming to our small town. When I asked the lady what her name was this morning she told me she didn’t have to tell me which I thought was very rude too.
