Dr. Mark L. Bottelson gave a completely wrong diagnosis which made me suffer from severe headache and eye pain. Returned to the store three times and was advised to switch lenses. On the day of the exam I questioned the numbers on new prescription and he confirmed that they were accurate. Visited with another doctor and new results showed that my numbers were completely off. Showed new doctor my misdiagnosed prescription and she described as "unacceptable". It caused me severe pain and money loss. Since new prescription, I haven't had any problems.***DO NOT VISIT WITH THIS DOCTOR***

I am not a fan of this Wal-Mart because the quality, customer service, and speed of service have a lot to be desired. So four years ago when I walked in to this optometrist Dr. Mark Bottleson is great! Who would have thought Wal-Mart would have a gem in the rough! He is knowledgeable, caring, and I enjoy just talking wit him. If you need an eye doctor this is your man!

Best experience at the eye doctor I've ever had. I would go here 1000 times before America's Best or any other place in Des Moines. I never would have guessed that the Walmart optometrist would be this great.

I have been going to Dr. Bottelson for years and always appreciate the quality of service that I receive from both the doctor and his staff. They take the time to explain everything and provide excellent service. Thanks again for another great experience!
