Mark Takesuye, OD

I found North Park Family Vision after reading reviews when I left my old optometrist. Dr. Mark is great! He takes his time, answers all my questions, and explains things clearly. I really appreciate his honesty and feel like he truly cares about his patients. He never tries to sell you things you don't need or charge extra, which was a problem at my last place. Instead, he actually looks for ways to help you save money. The office isn't fancy, but that doesn't bother me since I'm there for my eyes, not for the decor.

I've been a patient of Dr. Mark for over five years. What keeps me coming back is how extremely professional and thorough he is. He always takes the time to answer every question and genuinely cares for his patients. His staff is just as caring and professional. I highly recommend them!

My four children and I are seen at North Park Family Vision for everything from routine eye exams and contact lens refills to more complex vision therapy appointments. Dr. Mark is excellent at meeting each of my children's unique needs, he takes the time to explain what to watch for, how to support their vision needs at home, and what accommodations would be most beneficial at school!

I have been seeing Dr. Mark for years and to say he is AWESOME is an understatement. Dr. Mark Gives you an extremely thorough exam, and if you have any issues or potential issues, he monitors them closely. Avoid going to the big box optometrists where you’re just another number, come see Dr. Mark you won’t regret it.

Today, 6/11/26, was a regular checkup, I received excellent care. Dr Takesuye went over my last eye exam-2023, reviewed my annual ophthalmologist visits, spoke of my two cataract procedures, I received vision test, slight change, I selected a prior eyeglass frame which I had lost, Doctor found same frames, I ordered them. Doctor Takesuye shared with me in detail about my vision, and slight dry-eye condition, which does not call for any intervention at this time.
