I get great care here for my unprovoked pulmonary embolism. Doctor has good unrushed conversations about my health, life and emotional well being. It is far from the house and parking is not free are the only problems. The staff is professional and the lab techs do great near painless work.

The phone clerk who called with an appointment reminder was belittling and rude when I asked a question about the timeline of 3 sequential appointments. She spoke at the speed of sound and kept repeating the same script instead of answering my question regarding what happens if one of the first 2 appointments runs longer than the time allotted. When I was finally able to get an answer to my question she just had to say emphatically “That’s what I said.” Actually, no. I had to keep rephrasing my question until you finally answered it. She made no attempt to hide her frustration.

Very poor level of patient care at BMT at Mays Cancer Center. Lisa and Debbie return zero calls. Several messages for months and no calls back. We have doctor orders and we were finally, after 5 months, ready to schedule and then they ghosted us. Even the referring doctor showed me emails to the staff like Natasha with zero response. They do not care about the patients and the services they are needing. We had to start all over at another clinic and center for services. I would suggest to look at other options than coming here.

The Dr.s are amazing but the desk staff suck. If you have an appointment you better take the whole day off of work. They want you to be 30 minute before your actual appointment, yet they are usually 30min or more late.

Dr.Karnad don't care about his patients at all. I havent seen him in 15 months and he tells me to come in early for blood work. I do, they say he cancelled it last minute. What's the appt even for then? Wasting my time and doesn't care at all. My Dr before him did my labs every month to make sure I wasn't having clots or having my blood too thin. Ridiculous. So disappointed.
