I would like to sincerely thank everyone involved in my care during my surgery. From the moment I arrived until I was discharged, I was treated with kindness, compassion, and professionalism. The excellent care, support, and attention I received made a difficult experience much more comforting. I truly appreciate the time, dedication, and respect shown by every member of your team. Thank you for making me feel safe and well cared for throughout my stay. I am very grateful for everything you did for me. Ivis Pantojas

The medical team who cared for me during my delivery made the entire experience feel so smooth and reassuring. From the very beginning, every member of the team showed genuine warmth, kindness, and professionalism, creating an atmosphere of trust and making me feel safe, supported, and cared for every step of the way. My heartfelt thanks to Nurse Jamie for her exceptional care, and to every member of Dr. Li’s team for making such an important day a truly wonderful experience. I couldn’t have asked for better care.

I want to thank God first for placing this nurse, Berthanie, in charge of my brother Sergio Barrera on the 5th floor, room B521. She cared for him with love, dedication, respect, and great professionalism and patience, never forgetting a single detail. She explained to me how the care would be done at home. She did much more than a nurse should; she always went the extra mile for my brother's care. I am truly grateful. We need more nurses like her. May God bless her life with good health and love for her and her family. Thank you so much, Berthanie.

Overall really great care and a good experience. I had a c section at 39 weeks and my care, and communication around my care was excellent. My very large baby also received excellent care in the NICU after he had trouble breathing on his own after birth. However, communication around his condition and what next steps looked like was not so great. I’m going to chalk it up to how busy they were and assume they were hyper focused on providing excellent care (which they did.) Overall, the nurses both in post partum and NICU were the best. But better communication from NICU doctors would have been great. Wouldn’t change any choices I made, overall a positive experience in spite of challenges.

Edit: Even after this review they have a copy and paste response to speak to a patient advocate. As someone who runs businesses and answers the public; how completely unacceptable to not write a new, targeted response to my specific complaint, let alone all other reviews. A lot of accountability and protocol reform needs to happen in this facility. Absolutely the worst hospital visit I’ve ever had. Negligence from the front door on, and it goes all the way up the chain. Doctors that forge clinical notes & change injury’s/symptoms, nurses that give false information to insurance advocates, patient advocates that are not truly separate from hospital, and risk management that is complicit with it all and will give you excuses for the staffs poor behavior. Try to escalate, you’ll continue to be blocked every step of the way including nurses refusing to get the house supervisor. Even after the visit, refusing to be held accountable. Do not send your loved one to this hospital if you care for them. This is the resounding opinion of DFW inhabitants, I only found out half way through a week of in my opinion negligent care. Go somewhere not for profit and where they care about their oaths. To add to this review after reading other reviews with similar issues, each person is given a patient advocate number. I would not expect help from that team; if they’re not able to escalate past that level and do not want to get their C-Suite involved, may all need to go HCA ethics board or to TX state. I appears to be a woman’s health red flag and RISK according to the reviews, community input, and really anyone I’ve asked at all about Medical City. It’s sad for the staff that work there that try to do their best, even their own employees were agreeing to go somewhere else!
