The first time I entered your facility, I looked around the lobby, observing the huge front desk (I actually don't know if it is marble) and all the fancy architecture. I thought that prices must be high to cover the entire complex design. I still believe that. I will never buy glasses from you again because my first pair cost around $700. I also don't like having to go in and out of multiple rooms because I use a manual wheelchair at the moment. However, most of the people and doctors have been awesome. They have been very nice and attentive to me. I would specifically like to praise Dr. Oliva due to his extracurricular activities, including his working with people that can't see or pay eye doctors. I am in awe of his resume and his willingness to help far less advantagede people. In summary, I will continue to come for the people whilst trying to forget the lavishness of the office and feeling that I am paying extra for it.

Everyone was kind and the environment is nice. They are efficient in getting things done. I had a lot going on with my eyes and I was impressed with how organized they were - like a well oiled machine with all staff working together to get things done in a timely manner. The Dr took his time to show me images and what they all meant. I appreciated that he also took the time to answer my questions. I would definitely recommend them.

I’ve had an amazing experience with everyone at Medical Eye Care. From the folks at the front desk to the techs, nurses, and my doctor, I have been so impressed by their kindness and competence. I was incredibly well cared for before, during, and after my cataract surgery. Dr. Peterson was my doctor and surgeon and I am so grateful for her combination of skill and gentleness.

Dr. Echalier was outstanding! Very professional, detailed, knowledgeable, and concerned about addressing my issues. As a new patient with a fairly unique issue, she made me feel comfortable having her take over my care from OHSU. I look forward to her support and willingness to help me. Her assistant, Mikhail (don't know spelling-sorry) was very thorough and organized. All the staff were very nice and welcoming.
