I highly recommend Dr. Luiza and her entire team! I had been suffering from chronic dry eye and Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD) for more than three years. I had visited several doctors and tried different treatments, but unfortunately, I continued to experience discomfort and symptoms. Eventually, one of the doctors referred me to Dr. Luiza. I have now been under Dr. Luiza’s care for about two months, and I can honestly say that I feel significantly better. I am very grateful for the care, knowledge, and professionalism she has shown throughout my treatment. Dr. Luiza is not only an excellent doctor, but she is also very kind, caring, and compassionate. The entire staff is also wonderful, friendly, and very helpful. I truly appreciate the time and attention they give to their patients. Thank you, Dr. Luiza, for helping me feel better and improving my quality of life. I am very thankful to have found you!

Excellent experience every time with Dr. Luiza Youssefi at Meriden Eye Care. The exam is always smooth, thorough, and very pleasant. Dr. Youssef is attentive, professional, and takes the time to make sure everything is clearly explained. The staff is also wonderful—friendly, efficient, and very welcoming, which makes the entire visit easy and comfortable. Highly recommend! !

I've gone here twice now for exams and purchased glasses and sunglasses. This place is fantastic. The Doctor is bar none the most professional and caring doctor going. They work with a lot of different insurances, they itemize everything for you before submitting billing. The equipment is all up to date. There's nothing here you cannot put your eye on. The place is clean and staff have a great sense of humor. The selection of glasses for adults and children is extensive. I would keep an eye out for appointments here :).

It has been one month since my husband was seen. We paid all the fees to have the exams conducted, and his trial contacts should have been ordered after he attended his visit; however, we were told one month later that his contacts were never ordered! No explanation as to why they just forgot to order them for one month, and every time we call to speak to an optometrist, we receive a different update and a different response. They are so disorganized and all over the place! I want to report this malpractice because we were charged for services and needed his contacts as soon as possible, just to find out that this practice never bothered to place the order for the eye with stigmatism. One month later, and he still has no trial contacts. This eye care physician does not make its patients the priority, and my frustration with their lack of accountability and urgency with my husband's contact order is an understatement.

I recently relocated to the Meriden area, and needed to find a new optometrist for my glasses and contact needs. I chose Meriden Eyecare based on their location and hours, and very impressed with the facility and courteousness of the staff. Since the initial visit for my annual eye exam and contact lens fitting, the staff has been very unhelpful and rude. They will NOT assist me in processing my contact lens supply order. I have called the staff on numerous occassions, and have gotten the runaround regarding this matter. They provide me with various responses, but they are nonsensical. This is very bizarre indeed, considering that they have my medical information, but are doing nothing with it.
