Had good experience both times I was there. New to Metro and have to admit, I was impressed. Front desk was very pleasant, and 2nd floor check in was a breeze. Dr. Hoyen and his staff are unbelievably great. I've been a U.H. patient for over 40 years and am now considering switching to Metro. Only wish it were closer to where I live but maybe 1 day they'll have more facilities. Thanks Metro.

Went here for a second opinion for an 10 week ultrasound. They refused to do an ultrasound, refused to do blood work. I had to take off work early for nothing to be done. The obgyn I saw- Tracy Hardy, she snarled at my family member for sitting in "her chair" while waiting for her to see me, when there was only one chair in the room to sit. I explained to her my situation and told her I'm here for a second opinion. She refused to listen to me and only went by what the other place (first opinion) said. She continues to GLARE at me and asks " what do you want me to do" I told her I wanted another test done. She made me reschedule again! She was not friendly, seemed like I was intruding on her, and no patient care was taken. But the nurse- Melinda James, was awesome and extremely helpful. I will not be returning ever to this place. I recommend you do the same.

I went there to have my kidneys checked under a doctors advice because I was having difficulty peeing. A nurse inserted a catheter that hurt me so bad! Spent 5 days at the Glick center hearing kidney failure 3 times! I lost my only sibling to kidney cancer so I thought okay I’m prob going to die like my brother! They wanted me to stay with a catheter for a total of 3 weeks under a nurse practitioner across from Glick. It was the most depressing time of my life. Finally got the catheter removed for the nurse to insist I stick catheter sticks up my urethra. I asked her could I please try my toilet at home first? She insisted on those nasty sticks! I went home I drank 96oz of water and prayed! It worked I’m peeing better then ever! So I went to University and got a 2nd opinion. The whole time I had a UTI!! I have to wear panty liners now because nurse at Parma hosp damaged me! During my catheter time I was peeing blood and pieces of skin material! Worst experience of my life! I was convinced I was prob dieing! Never Parma hospital again.

Look I’m just frustrated because Metrohealth has a system for trans people’s names but it feels like they’re not applying it adequately because when I say a friends name and they happen to be trans the employees at Metrohealth locations seem to just blatantly ignore the name in the parenthesis and picking up a friends wheelchair I said their proper name which led to a somewhat rude “what’s HER name” signaling that this emergency department employee either didn’t see it or just ignores the name in the parenthesis. Like, cmon, please do better

I went in for ultrasound went in the wrong entrance and up the wrong elevator and needed help being redirected by a worker. Went to foor 4 there was no reception so took an elevator back downstairs and met the lady at desk 4 with glasses at 1:15 pm. She called ultrasound to see if they'll still take me in which thankfully they did but before she told me they would she decided to lecture me on being on time to my appointment. I showed up at 1:05 already explained I've never been to this location and got lost. But she still went on to be a condescending cvnt. Thanks will not be coming back to metro or this location.
