DO NOT GO HERE. Very very disappointing costumer service and I suspect an inaccurate eye exam evaluation. I went in for an eye exam. They had me look into a machine and out popped my prescription, there was no looking at eye charts or anything, they assured me this was the modern way of doing it. I agreed to have some glasses made and when I got the $500(!!) glasses they were WAY WORSE, they told me it'll take a few days to get used to it, I wore those glasses for days and all it did was make my eyes go in and out of focus (but mostly out) and give me headaches. They told me they'd adjust them, they didn't, they lied, they just gave me back the exact same glasses and told me they adjusted the lens. I know the lens was never adjusted bc it had the same sharpie markings on them from the first time they checked my eye line. I could tell they did not care or make any sort of apology for this colossal waste of my money and time. They acted like they didn't believe me that the glasses were horrible. Eventually they told me I couldn't get my $500 back but they'd give me a new set of readers, which is what I suspect is all I needed anyway. I cannot stress enough to not give this company your business, they did bad service and lied to me and didn't act like cared about my business or eyesight at all. Frankly, I'm mad I didn't make a bigger fuss and demanded my money back.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. My experience with this practice has been consistently disappointing. Most recently, I had an appointment that had been scheduled for over a week, yet when I arrived, I was told the doctor only had a few minutes available before needing to leave. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated issue. During a previous visit, the doctor came across as rushed, inattentive, and dismissive of my concerns. I never felt that my questions were fully addressed or that I was receiving thoughtful care. The doctor had an unprofessional, unwelcoming, and horrible attitude. He has no care for others time but his own. Overall, the office lacks the level of attentiveness, reliability, and compassion.
A completely unacceptable experience from start to finish. I booked an appointment online, submitted my insurance info, and received a text confirmation. When I arrived, the shop was closed. I called the next day and was told they had an emergency and closed early. When I rescheduled, the staff had lost my initial paperwork and made me fill out the questionnaire again. The exam itself felt rushed—barely three minutes long—and the staff was pushy about upselling products I didn't need. Because of the high in-house prices, I ordered my glasses online. When they arrived, the prescription was completely blurry. I took them to Greenpoint Eye Care, but they refused to help, insisting I just needed time to adjust. After three days of not being able to see, I returned. They made me pay for a second exam, where the doctor finally admitted the original prescription was wrong due to a "machine error. "They refused to cover my replacement glasses or refund me for the unnecessary second visit. Avoid this practice—they are disorganized, dismissive, and solely focused on upselling.
Very friendly and professional optometrist. I called in to make an appointment and they were able to work with my schedule. When I arrived they had my paperwork ready, were happy to answer all my questions and got in in and out quickly. Thank you.
Great service . The front desk staff are amazing along with doctor . I was able to get help as soon has I walked in.
