Tried out a new Optometrist office and I am very happy I did. Very friendly staff and doctor. Very helpful and kind thru my whole visit from start to finish. Had a nice variety of glasses to choose from. I cant wait till mine come in. Thank you for making my office visit very pleasant, will definitely be coming back.
Dr. Michelle Cruz is so patient. Her staff are kind and friendly. I can see so clearly out of my new glasses! Both of my kids are autistic. Dr. Cruz answered all sorts of questions and was thorough in her exam.
Made an appointment to have my child's glasses repaired for minor scratches. They told me it would only take a week. My wife and daughter went in to drop of the glasses, while I waited in the car. My wife got in the car and was extremely upset after a few minutes she told me the ladies in the front desk were being rude again and kept interrupting her when she asked why they changed the time to repair the glasses. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time the women at the front desk were rude and dismissive, but because Dr. Buu was caring, attentive and would find the best options for our vision we continued going there. However, this incident was the last time and I do not tolerate bullying so I went inside and told them how unprofessional and unpleasant they were with my wife and as much as we love Dr Buu we were canceling any future appointments and taking our business somewhere else. The lady at the front desk said, "ok." So if you choose to do business here your vision is in good hands, but you'll need to get through the front desk to experience it for yourself.
Dr. Cruz is an amazing optometrist. She really takes her time with you during the exam. She is very knowledgeable and makes you feel very comfortable.
Not satisfied with the customer service. I need transition lenses the last two pairs my insurance covered for transition lenses. This place tells me that my insurance won't cover it which is not true and now I'm stuck with a worthless pair of glasses for the next two years. This place has made no attempt to accommodate my needs. I told my wife I didn't wanna change the optometrist but she did anyway and this is the reason why. Needless to say I'm not a fan of this place and I wouldn't suggest them to anyone. They basically just told me I'm stuck with what I got.. you say my insurance doesn't cover it well apparently you guys don't know your job cause the last two optometrist has covered it at SunCity optometry. They covered trifocals and transitions lenses. You guys didn't even try to submit it. That's the problem
