Michigan Eye Institute

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Engelman. She’s attentive and compassionate. She’s concerned about her patients and their well being. However, the reason I gave 4 stars is, there’s ALWAYS that one other person that works there. Either it’s the nurse/attendant taking you back that doesn’t greet you: just calls your name with no hello, how are you today. Or there’s the eyeglasses receptionist who’s announcing that she hopes the power goes out during a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM” so she can go home (in front of patients-HOW TACKY). Then when I say, “Don’t say that! Then our homes will become HOT”! Her rebuttal is..”My house won’t be hot, I have a generator!” I then replied “well good for you!! Some people aren’t that fortunate”. Not the 1st time I’ve had to bring “Etiquette awareness “ to other staff members about SOME EMPLOYEES! “

MEI in Grand Blanc have been wonderful with my eye care not just annually but Ian emergency type situation as well. Also the Fenton MEI have done a remarkable job as well. That’s where I go when Dr Engelman is away. They are very accommodating and friendly. My doctor made room for me in her busy schedule to ensure I wasn’t having any vision problems that day but wants me to follow up with her in a month because this type of trauma to a cornea transplant can still have after affects Not just Dr Engelmann but her staff as well especially in the optical eye glass section of the office. I have created a friendship with them whenever I come in. I have to say bye to them when I leave. The front desk staff were very professional and accommodating. Today was a good day!!!

I have always had a great experience with the doctors and other employees at Michigan eye institute in Grand Blanc. Everyone is very professional and very polite and very thorough. I have the utmost confidence in Dr Diskin and the other employees.

Every staff member is very polite and patient. Kelsey Engelman really cares about patients, she explains things very well, and listens to patients concerns. I would highly recommend. Also building is very clean

From the minute I walk in from the front desk to the doctor's assistant and seeing the doctor. Everyone was so nice helpful and friendly. Just a great friendly family environment. I was totally satisfied with those that helped me and the service they provided to me 🙂
