Dr. Johnson and his staff are very attentive and courteous. After-cataract surgery follow-ups were easy to schedule, and everyone was helpful in answering questions and concerns I had. It is nice to have an office that is not like one of the big box stores that are becoming so prevalent nowadays. Getting the personal experience and care from knowledgeable staff is like finding a diamond in a heap of trash…well worth it!
when I checked on my eyes checked and got a new pair of glasses. This is the place to go when checking on your eye health. Great friendly staff always make you feel welcome. Overall this is the place I’ll be going in the future. Thank you Mid-Valley Eyecare. 😁
It's been and still is the only eye Dr. I'll go to. About 3 years ago, during an exam he caught that my right retina wasn't right and immediately referred me to a specialist in Salem. Everything turned out fine. He's an excellent eye Dr.

Dr Johnson was very good and I would not mind seeing him again. On the other hand, the office staff if a different story. Telling me and my wife that we are covered with our medicare insurance. Gave them all the info over the phone and all was good. After the appointment, they said I was only partially covered and I owe money for the exam and I have to pay for my glasses. Medicare covers my eye exam and glasses 100%. They said afterwards that my insurance did not cover 100% with them, which they never told us. Was not very happy and will not recommend this place. I will have to report this also to medicare and my insurance company.
