Sterling Vision

The receptionist was a little snarky that I only arrives 5-10 minutes early (came from the coast and ran into 2 “ flagger” construction zones), but other than the first comment, “I have been waiting for you,” the experience was great. The Tech worked quickly through all the tests, explaining them thoroughly. When transferred to the doctor I had one of the most thorough eye exams ever. I feel confident that I will be 100% satisfied with my new glasses. The receptionist was on top of timing and wanted no one to have to wait long for any service. The frame choices were a bit limited but they are waiting for the new styles to come in. I was able to find something I liked and Jessica was amazing. Patient. Thorough. She did everything she could to give me the best price since I was buying 2 pairs of glasses. I am so pleased that Sterling is in my insurance network and that I found this provider.

They are fine. I wish they were more upfront with their costs. I was paying out of pocket because I moved and my contact script expired. I asked them to bill my health insurance but it didnt get covered (even tho on the east coast it was as I have very bad vision). I had a dilated eye exam, choosing what I was told was the cheaper version (drops versus some machine; same with the glaucoma test). I get the cost of the refractive exam, but how a new patient exam is $405? They offer no sliding scale (as a pediatrician this is what we do in my office). I asked for a break down of the visit (meaning what each charge was leading to the $405) and while the lady on the phone was nice, what she sent me was the same thing I got in the mail. Definitely only go if you have insurance. The days of paying out of pocket for vision (dental, medical) are a thing of the past.

I received excellent care from Dr Glennie especially as they were booked and I didn’t have an appointment. He looked at my eye and confirmed I had a couple burst blood vessels. He explained how they came to be, gave me some medicine to ease the discomfort, and said all should be well in about a week. Great staff and eye doctors.

As I entered this office, could tell it was gonna be a good experience. Front desk was engaging, and every member of staff was friendly and professional. I was very impressed with the different types of eye exams. There were a few extra steps, much appreciated. Thank you.

I had a wonderful experience at Sterling Vision for my first visit. The customer service was excellent from the moment I walked in, and I truly appreciated that there was no wait time. Dr. Glennie was fantastic. He was very thorough, took the time to explain everything clearly, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment. I highly recommend Sterling Vision and will definitely be returning for my future eye care needs.
