I had my first visit this week after switching to new insurance and needing to find a new provider. All Family Vision Care were fantastic all around! Dr. Ngo provided an extremely thorough exam, taking time to explain what’s happening with my eyes, and even rescanning with the retina camera to be sure he had a clear view. He double checked my progressive prescription I currently had on to make sure the measurements were accurate and even took time to teach an assistant about things that are tricky to measure on progressive lenses. The office and equipment was all very clean and modern. After my exam I was taken to the frame showroom space where I was assisted by extremely friendly and knowledgeable women. They went over what my insurance would cover and explained what my options were and what discounts I could get on a second pair at the time. The cost with my insurance for the initial progressive lens pair was outstanding, only $85 with all the extras added. For a second pair of sunglasses with just my single vision distance it was a bit over $500 after the 40% off. Still very reasonable given the second pair I was paying out of pocket. I was given a copy of my prescription as well as a few samples to help with my dry eyes, they cleaned my current pairs of glasses well and even helped adjust my current sunglasses that slide down often. All in all every employee was friendly, helpful, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I’m very happy I decided to try them as a new provider and I’ll have no hesitancy to return next year!
