The check-in lady was very kind and helpful. She was patient and supported me navigating a complicated insurance situation. The doctor did a great job of thoroughly explaining what was going on with my vision, giving examples that made sense with my current symptoms, and offered visual representation of his explanations. However, the assistant who brings you to the rooms, takes measurements and uses the initial machines to evaluate, your eyes was very disrespectful and rude. She was abrasive when asking me to go to different rooms. In all actuality, she demanded rather than asking. She did not explain anything. The machines used at this facility are very different than machines used at other facilities, where I’ve been a patient. I had no idea how long each part of her exam/machine would take, or what to expect. I was not aware there would be so many flashing lights, or exposure to intervals of extreme lights. I am prone to migraines. The rest of my evening was very uncomfortable due to an extreme migraine as a result of the flashing lights. Had I know this, I would have taken a migraine onset medication at the time of the exam. She did not explain if you were to keep your glasses on or off during each evaluation. When I asked questions, she gave short answers and did not look at me when she talked. She made me feel Like I should know the answers to questions when there’s no rational reason for me two have knowledge of. She was not pleasant at all. She likely should seek employment where customer service is not a fundamental skill set of her job. Again, the front office lady was very patient and kind, she was helpful and seemed to enjoy her job. The doctor was very pleasant and I was confident is his evaluation. I am pleased with the options given to correct my vision. If it was not for this experience, I would have given a 5.

I just experienced Lenscrafters for the first time ever i was a bit nervous im used to not being able to afford “nicer” frames but let me tell you Rayanna made me feel so comfortable and relaxed while helping me pick the perfect frames for me! She was so sweet patient and understanding she’s the best!!!! (:
I hadn't been to this location in years so I didn't know it had been remolded so I didn't know where the eye exam area was. When I entered, there were two associates that were with other customers but neither one acknowledged me or asked if I was there for an eye exam. I had thought that I couldn't just go to the back and someone would take me back so I waited in the chairs up front to see if they would ask me. About 10 minutes later another customer came in and she was instantly acknowledged and asked what she needed. At that point I was irritated and felt that I was being ignored on purpose. I decided to just risk it and went to the back to find that there was the eye exam area. I think it would be helpful for new customers that there is a sign or something directing them to the eye exam area especially if customer service isn't going to assist everyone. The associates at the front desk for the exam area were very friendly and I was taken back for my appointment quickly. The doctor was also very friendly. After I had to go get my frames I joined the long line out front. I wasn't sure if we were supposed to pick out our frames before being assisted or if that was a part of the experience with the associate. In the past when I was there, that was the case . When it became my turn, I sat with the associate and she asked "well what frames are you getting? I can't help you if you don't have them." That made sense but I didn't like the way that it was stated to me or that I was being talked to like I was incompetent. I wasn't familiar with the process there because everywhere is different. I got up quickly and chose one that I liked but just thought there would be more to the experience. After that it was fine but at that point I was feeling uncomfortable and was happy to only be going back there to get my glasses. The eye exam area deserves 5 stars but the customer service experience out front honestly deserves 2 or 3 stars. I gave 4 because the eye exam experience was great.
Best eye care facility in the Salem Oregon area! The front desk was very kind to fit me in their schedule! They told me all their prices before hand over phone and at the office! No surprise fees everything was well communicated! The pre test was amazing and quick with explanations of what was going to be done before hand. Dr. B was very kind and helpful I was in and out and was taken good care of! I will definitely keep coming here.
What great customer service all the way around with EyeFocus NW! I appreciate the knowledge and guidance for my best contact options with Dr. Mark Fast. Janae was very helpful with the processing and ordering options! Thank you EyeFocus NW!
