This visit was very good. I was greeted by the receptionist when I arrived, checked in promptly and taken back in just a couple of minutes. I was includwd on a conversation about cookies ( Oreos ,Golden or Chocolate to be exact. Unfortunately the general consensus was in favor of Chocolate, i only received 1 vote for golden. 😐 . A great group of ladies and gentlemen. Dr. Kahsah is a great doctor, he is very personable and takes the time to talk to yiu as a person not just a patient.

Dr Patrick Burchell went to see him becuse I was told I had thyroid eye disease. Dr explained that I do not have thyroid eye disease, and my pressure in my eyes was within range. I was diagnosed with Graves’ disease and hyperthyroidism in April. I believe a diet that I was on- then diagnosed with Graves’ disease and hyperthyroidism in April26. I believe a diet that I was on that was a high and iodine diet which triggered everything. I went to see an endocrinologist who I had to fire. I saw her twice they would not allow me to explain my symptoms etc just wanted to write a med and send me on my way . So when I went to see Dr. Birchell, I loaded on him with all of my issues and symptoms and not once did he try to cut me off in sentence and tell me not his speciality . He listened when he didn’t have to. He let me be heard and not once did he make me feel like I was being rushed when he had to every right to say not his speciality. A+ for bedside manners and for caring, appreciate his thorough exam, clear explanations, and friendly staff. The other thing is Dr. Burchell ordered me a special test for my thyroid and he was 100% accurate, the test was not ordered by my primary care——lengthy post, but what I’m saying is he went above and beyond when he didn’t have to because most of the things I was talking about was for another doctor to treat. A+ for excellence !!! I will be going back to see this doctor in two weeks for a follow up for the bloodwork he ordered, and I would highly recommend him

Front desk staff was rude. Care team and Doctor was amazing. I understand that I was one of the first patients of the day but if you are not ready just kindly explain that. Telling the patient to go sit down and they will call you up when they are ready is not very good customer service. A simple hi or good morning please have a seat while we finish getting set up would be much more polite. Once in the back everything was amazing and made up for the initial contact.

I am very pleased with the services provided to me by Midwest Eye Center. Dr. Burchell has relieved me of entropian in both eyes. His surgery brought me instant relief. And more recently, he removed an annoying small cyst under my left eye. Thank you!

I was treated with courtesy and kindness by the technicians and nurses. I was emotional and fearful but everything was thoroughly explained by Marcie and the assistants and Dr. Matt D at each phase. I felt secure with all of those that tended to me.
