very professional, well organized staff, my doctor has been very good, open and honest. My eye problem is somewhat serious and may not be able to be fixed. Dr Devine has been forthright with us the entire course of treatment.

I needed my records because I was changing to a new doctor. I called the office and waited unsuccessfully for 32 minutes for the records office to answer. I called back to scheduling to get help—and was transferred back to that same number and waited another 45 minutes for a live person. THAT person was NOT AFFILIATED with Mid West Eye Center—but a place called Sharecare. I had the info for WHERE I wanted record sent, but She needed ME to tell her the organization that I wanted files FROM! I had to look up all the info—name, address, phone, of MidWest —info about the very office who transferred me to her. Then after lots of questions, she sent me an email—not from Sharecare, but from her personally! Is that secure? The application to get the records was electronic and very difficult and time consuming and then froze as I was almost finished. Three more tries starting all over—they obscure info that I didn’t have like dates exact dates of my beginning and last visit from over 16 years of treatments—which I did not know—just put in approximate dates. Then—I had to indicate from a list of specific types of records—no category for all records. A copy of my drivers licenses photo ID. After all the work and even though they already had the recipient address—I had to re-enter all the info again to mail the records. In all, I spent 4 hours—just to get my records transferred!!! And on top of this—there are reasons. The staff was great-but unimaginable mismanagement Beware!

This is for the Reading Road location. Nice professional office. Has a location you can easily drive right past, did not see an outside sign. Definitely use GPS. Everyone doing my testing was professional and nice but no small talk, they were all business. They did not offer conversation. Dr. Devine took extra time to explain small details with me. He was great to speak with. Only complaints would be the loud gossip circle conversation between 3 employees at the front desk that was NOT family friendly. They also dilated my eyes, did not offer a rolled up cheap pair of sunglasses and since I was alone, I had to sit in my car for 45 minutes before I could see to drive. I was never told I would be dilated, but I should have assumed. I would recommend because of everything else.

The staff at Midwest were friendly, courteous and professional people! I didn’t have to wait very long to be seen by Dr. Devine, who was also friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful. Each technician I saw that day was great at what they did! Looking forward to going back for my treatments in the next few weeks!
