Worst department in all Ohio. I don't know why they have a phone number if they never anwer, left a voicemail days ago still no call back. Drove in person for 2hrs and left without a solution. Cincinnati is the worst when it comes to dealing with City officials

I walked in to pay for License fee at 10:40 am .Service desk try to help but no one response her call so waited long; meanwhile talk her about difficulties parking for Visitors so park in staff area & Security man came and starring at us as if I did any crime parking at Staff. Waiting long enough after some times one girl came to help me out & need all paper with check without return receipt so I request to make one copy of it or just put stamp with date on it which they do not have. This is how Health Department behave with their Customer & feel so discomfort in morning time plus no one present who can assist for such small things. On top of need some info related with Vaccines that’s still question mark ??
The department of health is so unhelpful every time I contact them. They never know who to direct me to or give me incorrect answers. One example is that I spent weeks trying to call and figure out how to get lead testing for my baby. I was repeatedly transfered around and eventually hung up on. Eventually I was told they don't do lead testing only to find out (after we paid to have it tested elsewhere) that they do in fact do them. This sort of thing has happened when I call about other issues too.
I have reported my landlord several times to them, and in return all I have gotten back was retailition against me and my family. It is to the point the Building Inspector Tom Wise will not respond to me, and lies for my landlord. There is no way my children and I should be living without power, especially in these weather conditions! I don’t think my family and I’s living conditions much matter to them, being that we are in a Urban Community. No one should have to live this way!
