Midwood Eye

I've been going to Midwood Eye for a number of years now, and I'm always incredibly happy with both the care I receive and the welcoming vibe of the office. From start to finish, everyone is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The initial check-in is seamless and sets great expectations for the visit. Dr. Amanda walks you through your vision evaluation, discusses options for your prescription needs, and makes everything easy to understand. Lastly, shopping for new frames or contacts is completely stress-free—they have a great selection by the way—and I've never felt rushed through the process. If you need an eye care professional for the first time, or are looking to switch to a new one, I highly recommend giving the folks at Midwood Eye your business. Plus, supporting local small businesses is awesome, and you get some neighborhood bragging rights! P.S. — There is usually plenty of parking in the lot behind the building. Also, I've never had any issues using multiple insurance carriers here over the years, and their pricing is incredibly fair!

Midwood Eye in Plaza Midwood is exactly the kind of local optometrist you hope to find in Charlotte. The whole experience felt modern, efficient, and genuinely friendly from start to finish. Dr. Amanda is fantastic, knowledgeable, thorough, and she explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand without making you feel rushed. Juli is also fantastic, welcoming, helpful, and on top of every detail. If you’re looking for an eye doctor in Charlotte for a comprehensive eye exam, updated glasses or contact lenses, or ongoing vision care, I highly recommend Midwood Eye. Easy to schedule, great communication, and a team that clearly cares about patients. Definitely the best optometry experiences I’ve had in Charlotte.

Midwood Eye exceeded my expectations this week! As someone who has never really had a true eye appointment, I was very impressed with them. Their lobby is beautiful with lots of refreshment options while you wait. My pre-assessment was quick and easy and I didn’t have to wait long for the doc at all. She was lovely and very educating, I got all of my questions answered! When finding out I needed daytime / near-sided glasses, the process of picking out and purchasing the glasses in the lobby was very fun and simple, I’m excited to pick them up. Thanks Midwood Eye!

I absolutely love Midwood eye! I’ve been to a few eye doctors throughout my life and Dr. Amanda has been the best. She takes her time during your eye exam and makes you feel like she listens. I’ve always had a great experience with the staff and everyone is very friendly. Every time I order contacts and glasses they arrive on time and my prescription is on point! I highly recommend!!
