Modern Eyes

I was a new patient last year. There was a scheduling snafu of some sort; when I called to confirm, they said I wasn't on the calendar, and the doctor wouldn't be in that day, so I rescheduled. The appointment went great! I felt the doctor listened to me, and after the exam, he adjusted my prescription to make it a little stronger. I gave him my frames so they could substitute the new lenses. My glasses were ready within days! This is the only optometrist's office that uses a local lab instead of sending glasses out-of-state for lenses! I'm looking forward to my next appointment later this year, to get to know this office better. So far, I'm impressed.

I just went to Modern Eyes in Aurora. It was easy to book an appointment, easy to find, and the staff there is great! Very knowledgeable, listened to my concerns, and explained everything to me clearly. I saw Dr. Sturdy and he was very thorough. He was patient with me during the exam, and explained everything in detail. I highly recommend Modern Eyes on Chambers in Aurora, and I have a lot of experience since I have been going to eye doctors for 56 years!

Really great experience! Ive been here twice and the service is impeccable! Friendly from start to finish. Millie was very professional, and extremely patient with me. I cannot say enough good things about this eye clinic. Last night, I accidentally crushed my glasses and am leaving on a flight to Las Vegas to visit friends and family. I can barely see without them, and to make matters more stressful, there was no doctor in and my glasses couldn’t be repaired. Despite all of that, the team went above and beyond to help me. Because I had a contact exam previously, they were able to get me set up with contacts so I wouldn’t be stranded unable to see. The relief I felt was overwhelming. I actually cried when they told me they can help. What stood out most was not just the solution, but the compassion. Thank you for keeping the human aspect at the center of how you treat patients. In a moment of real stress and vulnerability, you showed kindness, understanding, and care, and it meant more than I can express. If you are looking for an eye clinic that truly cares about people, this is the one. I am endlessly grateful.

Doctor was thorough, explained why he ran the tests he ran, explained the results and was no nonsense. Contacts he chose have worked well. I’m very pleased.
